SSEZ general manager Mr Cao Jianjiang visited SIBT

On February 1, 2022, Cao Jianjiang, the general manager of Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ), visited SIBT. Mr Cao, on behalf of all the staff of SSEZ, introduced the development and achievements of the industry park, extended sincere greetings and wishes to all the faculty and students of the Institute for the Chinese Lunar New Year, and hoped both parties would collaborate more firmly to promote the development of economy and education of the community.

In the meeting with the guests, Li Chuanbin, the executive president of SIBT, introduced the development of SIBT. Now the Institute offers three majors of four year full time bachelor degree programs in business management, information technology, and logistics management, with 80 students registered. Many students are working in the SSEZ industry park with $200 a month for freshers, and $300-400 for sophomores which brought them high confidence and pride, providing a solid support for their study and life.

It is known that SSEZ is one of the two investors of SIBT, with Wuxi Vocational Institute of Commerce, Wuxi, China as the other. SSEZ has offered critical support in the construction and running of SIBT not only in facilities and management but also in students practice and work placement. SIBT has also provided substantial support in human resources providing over 15000 person day training to workers in the industry park. Both parties have forged a good example of an integrated entity with a shared future.
